Green Jacket Salad

Description: This was the house salad for the Green Jacket restaurant in Macon, GA. It is a very versatile salad pairing well with most all meats

Ingredients:

1/2 Head of lettuce, chopped

1 Medium tomato, chopped

2 Small green onions, sliced

2/3 Cup grated parmesan cheese

Croutons to taste


For Dressing

2 Tablespoons canola oil

1 Tablespoon red wine vinegar

1 Teaspoon garlic salt

1 Teaspoon chives

1 Teaspoon oregano

1 Teaspoon parsley


Special tools/utensils needed: large bowl small bowl


Directions:

  1. For the salad combine the lettuce, tomato, and green onions.

  2. Toss with parmesan cheese and croutons.

  3. Combine the oil, vinegar, garlic salt, chives, oregano, and parsley.

  4. Mix well, pour over salad and serve.
